Have you heard about our new book club? This month, the Smiles Are Wild Book Club is featuring Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring by Kenard Pak. This children’s picture book is super cute, and it tells the story of the changing seasons. On a recent Facebook Live, Rachel from Two Friends Bookstore and Cafe joined Amy to talk about Two Friends and read our book of the month!
Two Friends is an independent bookstore and cafe at the 8th Street Market in Bentonville. Established as a popup in 2018, Two Friends recently moved into its new space, which includes a lovely children’s room where the store hosts story time every Saturday at 10 am. Children of any age are welcome, but the books are typically chosen for kids ages zero through six.
On Saturday, April 15th, Two Friends will host a special story time with Ashley Franklin, author of The Little Mermaid: Make a Splash, the book companion to Disney’s new movie The Little Mermaid. We know this mermaid-themed event will be a blast, and we hope your family will check it out!
